Algae Floating Systems Is Joining Forces with Saving Energy Corp to Develop Natural Gas-to-Butanol Technology
South San Francisco, California – September 14th, 2015 – Algae Floating Systems has announced today that it is collaborating with Saving Energy Corporation for development of a natural gas-to-butanol conversion technology. Due to an accumulated knowledge in microbiology over the 10-year effort of developing and commercializing microalgae industrial systems for fuels, food, feed and other markets, getting involved with gas fermentation was a natural choice. The company has been quietly working on designing and testing a unique fermentation system. We look forward to successfully commercializing the technology with our partner and will take the role of a technology provider in the project.
